Disgusting!
At least it seems they'll be prosecuted - and have to pay for a new window. Looks a flashy car, I hope it costs an arm & a leg.

It is not only cars, many people do not realise that dogs can overheat out in the open as well as confined spaces. A few years ago I was on a normal walk along the river and in the park with my then 8 yr old German Shepherd and my 18 mnth old Rottweiler, it was a sunny ,yet not overly hot summers day. On the way home the Rottweiler started to breath in a rather high piched manner, He was in distress and at first I thought he had swallowed something. He was starting to stagger and was losing ground fast. Luckily by this point in the walk we were passing through a residential area, I put my docile and well behaved Shepherd, Max in the sit position and started banging on doors for help. I dont know what I was thinking but I somehow thought of water, lots of it as Saxon my Rottie was by this time down ,good people rushed to my request for basins of water whivh I started pouring over him. I called the vet who came straight away to our aid. Seven hours of intensive care saved Saxons life but the vet told me that on the same day two other dogs lost theirs with the same heatstroke problem. I NEVER walk too far in the hot weather ,stick to cooler times of the day and always seek shade periodically as well as taking a water bottle with me . Sorry for the long post but it is SO important that everyone gets the message on dogs and heat dangers.

A story to consider carefully!
So glad Saxon was okay, though.

There is a temperature chart somewhere for a guide to whether its a good idea to take them out or not. Unfortunately we have a breed of dog that really needs some out time or they will get very irritable in the house and cause damage at times. Little and often I say just to let off a little energy and then straight back. Always take water with you if your out for a long time.
