We once had a Great Dane she was a smashing girl. Lived until she was 11 which is good for a Dane.

She was such a character too, she would wave at the kids going to school whilst leaning on the back gate and you could just talk to her as if she was human and she seemed to understand. You could 'sit stay' for two full football pitch lengths and she wouldn't move but you would have to go back a bit as she could not hear you call. She was the runt that nobody wanted and ended up at our door and Teresa took her in hand and trained her to a good standard but to be truthful a two year old could have trained her she was so compliant. She was very ill towards the end and I had to take her to have the 'blue stuff' and she was gone. Of course Teresa thinks she is the dog whisperer now from training some 38 years ago, and without reading a single book about dogs. She does get some things right bless her.

Beautiful , I love Great Danes there on my to5 favourite breeds just love them and would love to have the pleasure of owning one , one day.
