Thank you! This issue has an interesting article on the colour of dogs and wolves and how it can relate to cross-breeding. Interesting article, but there's one huge error. Dogs are not direct descendents of grey wolves. They have a common ancestor, which is actually a different thing entirely. It's certainly interesting that many 'pure' wolves seem to have domestic dog genomes. But could that be a part of their common ancestry?
