Thank you x he is seven and a half months and really I do wonder whether letting him on the sofa was a good idea. My previous boy didn’t go on the furniture.

Ian't he getting big!!
My dogs have always been allowed on the sofa, as long as they get off when they're told!

Same here, although shes trying to sneak her way onto the bed now and we are drawing the line there, its bad enough sharing the bed with a guy over 6 ft and I sure as heck ain't giving up my side of the bed  He does look big in this picture, Luna is just over 6 months now and I don't think shes very big for her age but the GSD I grew up with was a huge boy and I was small at the time so maybe I just remember him bigger than he actually was lol |

Thanks everyone  I think he is probably the same size now as Lukey was but he may still grow some more and has to fill out. He has some lovely traits and has a nice nature |

Thank you Marybeth he is currently by the back door cooling off. When he has stopped being quite so distructive, or more to the point can be trusted lol, I will get him a nice cool pad |

Marlo is a smashing looking boy! Beautiful. I didn't used to allow my dogs on the sofa until we went on holiday with him and another couple with their dogs. The other dogs were allowed on the furniture (with throws) and we had kept telling Merlin to get off but he looked so forlorn about it that we allowed him on too.
So of course we got home and he is on the sofa, and then we had another dog and he was on the sofa. So it looks like Logan will be doing the same when he can get up there. I do sometimes think it was not a good idea but hey ho - it's their home after all said and done.
I say to them, 'Oh I see you are on your dog bed' lols
