Well we have had the boy at the vets....blood in his poo, followed by a stone and more blood! He was also off his food (unheard of!) and just wasn't himself...so it was off to the doggy doctor and steroid injection, intestine lining medicine, a finger up his bum and £44.34 later he is back home and feeling sorry for himself! The vet said the stone has probably irritated his colon and he should be fine in a day or so.....if not its an xray to see if he has anymore stones stuck!

That's too bad Hopefully that will cure him of eating rocks! Baron was also fond of rocks and that worried me that the same thing would happen to him. But they passed through or he threw them up. He outgrew it by 6 months without any mishaps. I did try spraying some rocks with bitter apple but that didn't stop him. It may work for Zac though. Hope Zac is feeling better!

Aide used to eat stones a lot despite my efforts to stop her. Vinny did as a small puppy but has eased off now that hes a 'bigger boy' I hope all is well soon, and keep up the insurance payments.

Dempsey ate stones as a pup, though luckily they never made him ill. He doesn't eat them now.... just eats everything else!

Well Zac is 6months now and still growing although he is slowing down a bit now (thank goodness!) He has really been suffering in this heat and isn't interested in anything after 10am, he just finds a cool spot and stays there. All our walks now begin at 4.30am then again at 8pm ! Here are a few recent pictures of him....
Enjoying a sunrise overlooking the Liverpool skyline, this is our daily morning walk
Lucy is so proud of her pup, he really shows his shepherding side if she dawdles on a walk!
