Hi Brian, sorry about that, I thought the twitter link had worked. Danno is presently at the top of the twitter page twitter.com/DC_PoliceDogsI'll send a message to DC_PoliceDogs and ask if they've tried the places you mentioned. I don't know anything about Danno, whether he failed as a police dog, or if he's now at retirement age. He does look in great condition though. x |

Can't see a link/pic, Jenny - have they tried the obvious like German Shepherd Rescue Elite I'm hoping they will Brian, but it does look like there are people who will take him on - though it might be possible the 'foster' ends up being the 'adopter'. Here's the last message about Danno to someone who's interested in him: "I havnt advertised I've been generally building his confidence and letting him enjoy life. No rush as he's happy here with me & Ella" |

I've recently lost my rescue GSD Kai at the age of 12. Danno looks just the dog for me, so please can I register an interest? Will have to check with 'she who must be obeyed' of course. I've just discovered that boards.net treats tweet links as a 'special case' - which is why Jenny's link to the tweet is behaving a bit oddly  If you go to Jenny's post and click the 'Quote' Button in the top right-hand corner, you'll be able to see the link and cut-and-paste it |
