On the 29th of August 2016 my 11 year old German Shepherd was put to sleep, not of a long standing issue, but one which arose over a matter of weeks. I've never shared an image of her on a forum, but she is beautiful and i thought others would enjoy seeing her, since many people on holiday used to stop their cars to look at her and say hello. This was Kala (pronounced Kayla) .

Hi and welcome to the forum,
Kayla was indeed a beautiful girl and your are quite welcome to share your photos with us. I have just lost my beautiful girl in my avatar on the left so I know how you feel. There have been a large no of shepherds passing just lately it seems to go that way for some reason.
Anyway why don't you put your name and the rough area that you live so us old ones can remember you better.
Keep posting your stories about Kayla.

Adorable girl, thanks for sharing - lovely to meet you both I lost Charley last September, 12.5yrs - no matter how often you've been there, it's never easy losing a friend ... My fix was Tasha - she needed the right home and Charley brought her to us. Doesn't work for everyone, but

Lovely pictures, I lost my boy Chip in February, it's such a loss and I know how you must have felt.
Will you get another GSD?
