Linda, Banders1, lost her young Jack yesterday after a short illness. He was not even 18 months old, run free big fellah.

So sorry to hear this about Linda's young lad Jack. I have been a bit preoccupied with my own grief. It gob smacks me that we look after our dogs to the highest standards and still they die young.
My heartfelt condolences to Linda and her family.

It was last year maxclint but thanks for the sentiment. Jack and my Aide pictured on the left in my avatar died, coincidentally, on the 4th July 2017.

A whole year ago. Just doesn't seem that long.

Shes with me all the time Caryll, I can feel her. Sometimes when Vinny is playing up I say Aide, for goodness sake sort him out. Silly I know but it seems to help.

It does help.
Even now, after nearly 45 years, I look back on my first BC, Zena, and feel she's 'directing' me - laughing at my mistakes & applauding any triumphs.
None of them EVER truly leave you.
