He doesn't look too bothered Linda, my Aide would have been barking the house down although she does not do that with my wife. She can't be doing it properly ha!

He did bark initially and hide but gradually got it closer. After all, owning a shep means a lot of cleaning.!

The best thing we have found, after buying all sorts of stuff that doesn't work or falls to bits, is this www.chemdry.co.uk/store/product/carpet-rake Just rake the carpet back and forth and all the hair from the carpet deep down will be caught up in the tangs of the rake. You just pull it off in one piece and then vacuum after. It truly is a Shepherd owners dream tool. Obviously it doesn't work on hard floors.

If the pickup roller clogs, there's a slot where you can insert a pair of scissors, then the hair just lifts off It's an extremely powerful machine, dawn likes it so much she bought a as well

I use one of those! Works well ... mostly lives in Dawn's room, so I can't comment Can vouch for the upright, tho' - apparently that's 'mine' (along with the carpet shampooer and the steam cleaner )
