How lovely!
Actually the one on the extreme left of picture two reminds me a little of my best boy Max (see Avatar), he has a similar look about him. I love long haired sheps!

You must have the patience of a saint - tho' you've got all your good boys to set an example We had Buddy for the night yesterday (2yrs), he was into everything!! Opened the bin in the bedroom (where he _knows_ he's not allowed) and had tissues everywhere

The spaniels are naughty and have no manners but they are much better behaved here than at home! They take food off their owners plate at home! But luckily see the example of our boys and no longer scrounge which is good!

... They take food off their owners plate at home! But luckily see the example of our boys ... Home rules/upbringing make a big difference - but they can be surprisingly sophisticated about different rules for different places. Alfie was a swap-dog before he moved to Cornwall. In his house, he's not allowed upstairs - in ours, anywhere but the bedroom. He was visiting us with his mum and started going upstairs, she reprimanded him, 'Alfie!!' .... He sat about 3 steps up, in an indignant pose and with a '... but I'm _allowed_ ...' expression

I just love watching them all interacting and sussing things out x
