Just in case anyone is unaware, Classic FM has a special programme of soothing music for dogs from 18:00 to 22:00 on 5 and 6 November.
We’ve tuned in to these special programmes the last few years and it does seem to help keep them calm.

We played it in both the kitchen and the dining room, and it certainly seemed to have a calming effect on Jax - he did still bark at the loudest/nearest bangs but never reached the distress stage. Last night the soothing music continued well past 22:00 (the fireworks went on until after 23:30, so just as well) and Classic FM has announced that the special programme will also be broadcast on 7 November.
