Part of me did wonder if the dog had been hurt, say in a car accident and thinking he was dead, someone had buried him? Strange thing to do, but you never know. I guess the SPCA have carried out a thorough investigation, hence the amount of time it's taken for it to be made public. They probably know a lot more than they're saying. As you say Brian, he is in a much better place now.
