Pedigree® is voluntarily recalling its 2020 holiday season special 520g Snack Ball box. They say:
"This is a precautionary recall due to the possibility of some dogs hurting themselves with the toy ball included in the pack.
All the Pedigree® treats in the box are safe and can be consumed, but we are asking you not to let your dog play with the ball and return the item to us.
No other Pedigree® product is affected by this recall.
If you have purchased this item please contact Pedigree®’s consumer care line on 0800 013 3131 for details on how to return it and a full refund for the product."
But oddly enough, they do not say why or how a dog can hurt itself playing with the ball??? We did not buy that, I had not even seen it anywhere for sale (not actively looking for pedigree products anyway), but it is a popular brand by all means, but it would be nice to know why it is being recalled apart from the vague statement.

Yes, they really ought to say why!
Mind you, I don't buy Pedigree anything if I can help it.

Never seen this for sale anywhere locally, not that I would buy it anyway.
