I'm so sad to tell the members that knew Theresa's dog Breezer who passed this afternoon. I'm not sure as yet but i will let you know when I hear. Breezer was one of our original 'mygermanshepherd' dogs who will be sorely missed by Theresa and all who knew him.

Really sorry to hear that, even know I did not know Breezer. I feel for everybody who knew him.

An extract from a message to me, I am sure she wouldn't mind you seeing it.
Thank you so much Chris. It was extremely sudden really. Mr B was walking very slowly yesterday and when other dogs approached, he almost didn't even notice they were there. He was quiet all evening. This morning, he was even more quiet. I took him out in the van, walked about 100 yards down a country lane and he just stopped and lay down on the grass. Immediately took him to the emergency vet. They did scans and blood tests and took fluids out of his stomach. The fluids were pure blood. He was bleeding from every orifice in his body and so I had to make that dreaded decision. The vet said his spleen was gone and the scan showed so many large holes in his liver. An operation would have possibly prolonged his life for about another month. Had to make the right decision for him so held him close, while the vet put him to sleep. I'm so lost right now Chris
I'm sure that anyone that has lost there dog will feel for her. Her life was with her dog.

Very sad, I didn't know Theresa or Breezer but it is always sad to lose a pet.

Oh, no, that's so sad. Dempsey went exactly the same way. It's the hardest decision ever but the kindest for the dog. RIP Breezer, run free.
