He is showing some interest in the second photo! I don't know much about rugby, but was it the result he was excited about?

Been a bit awol past few weeks just with work etc but will get Murphys usual photo uploaded soon.
Quick question again sorry haha, Murphy has been great and usually sleeps right through at night in his crate with no waking up etc but past few nights he's been up all night moaning. The first.night I thought he needed the toilet so let him out but he just lay down on the slabs so put him straight back in and have been ignoring him through the night. Is this him.just testing us now that he's at that age (nearly 7 months) or are we being bad doggy parents ignoring him? Only other thing I can think is I was going into hospital today for a minor op so not sure if he's picked up on that the past few nights. Or he's just being a prick 😂

Nights are getting warmer?? I was thinking that too but wasn't sure if this would affect him during the night. We don't have heating on anymore as our house does get quite warm. Do we just continue to ignore all night? Hopefully tonight he'll be settled so I can get a good sleep 😂

Nights are getting warmer?? My thoughts exactly - Gus is starting to pace up and down at various times of the night, the first go this morning was at 02:20! Great, because, once awake, I have real problems getting back to sleep! He then flops down on the tiles in the kitchen and does a lot of moaning, huffing etc., - and then Lucy gets up to see what he's doing! We don't have heating on at night, we never have, but they're obviously noticing the difference, even if it is a very small difference. Gus also has a seriously thick coat which doesn't help.

Murphy has been exactly like that actually now you say it. He has been pacing and whiney and then also flops on the tiles downstairs and has been going under our wee sofa too downstairs because it's cooler I think. It has been a bit of a change here for us as we had the snow a few weeks ago and now it's getting that bit warmer.

Hazarding a guess I'd say it's a mixture of warmer nights (let's face it, that fur coat is thick!) and the increase of night animals now that spring is getting here.
Do you shut his crate door?

Yeah we close the door over. Hes always slept right through from around the 10 week mark. Just been this past week hes not settled at all during the night.
