So.... Ron was on fb this morning when up comes a post - 'I've locked my dog and my keys in my car'!!! It was quite warm even out of the car, so Ron asked her where she was. Luckily she was only a few minutes drive away. So off he goes, casting all thoughts of social distancing aside and clutching his trusty wire coat hanger, and drives down to the location where a small crowd had formed. In the meantime, a neighbour had broken a window and they had got Obi, a spaniel out. Ron said the dog was already pretty warm by that point. The owner had called the RSPCA and the AA but it was all taking too long, so the only option really was to break in.
I don't think she'll do that again!
It's all happening here at the moment, two riders were thrown by their horses down on the beach yesterday and the horses made off along the sand and up through town, across a level crossing where they were eventually trapped in a car park!! The footage of them galloping along the sand was brilliant but again, it could have ended so badly!
