My last girl was between 43 and 48 kg and was a bit of a flump. Vinny is a much leaner weight. Yes the rib gauge is always the best way to ascertain if a dog is at a fair weight.

As it was awful weather, the dogs have been to daycare today. The first photo is of the group, Lucy is at the front near to the guy's legs and Gus is somewhere near the back, behind a husky -  Next, we have Lucy looking as gorgeous as ever! -  And finally, the boy Gus actually joining in!  |

I think they're a great bunch of people and the dogs obviously do like them.  I don't know who takes the photos but there are some great headshots on their fb page every day! |

He does not look like a monster to me Did he choose the hat or one of his minions? It was my OH. Lucy had decided to throw a lot of the toys out of the box this morning and we were tidying them away again when, for some reason, it was decided that Gus should have something stuck on his head! He just lets us do whatever we want really.  Honestly, he is so different when he's indoors with us, it can be hard to believe he's the same nutcase that we take for a walk!
