It's Gus's 7th birthday today. I've been trying to get some decent shots of him his morning but we've been subjected to outside interference (Lucy)! This one's not brilliant but you get the general idea. I've never had a dog that's gone so grey around the muzzle so early on - he's been going grey since he was about 4 and I don't think living with Lucy helps matters!  |

Give him a big belly rub from me😁.
I had a bitch that went grey around the muzzle when she was 2 years of age, people kept asking if she was a senior. I also had her daughter and she went grey around the same age.
I think it is a genetic thing.

You could be right, at the breeders I seem to remember his extended family all looked quite elderly, but in actual fact they weren't.

Rocky hasn't gone grey around the muzzle, his muzzle is still black but all his whiskers have turned white, and the black fur around his neck is going from black to gold instead, it's really strange, not had that happen before, and he's developed a brown patch of fur on his neck as well, really weird.
I've known dogs go grey really young.
Is Gus getting any presents or treats.

Tasha still looks like a puppy. When Axel was a puppy he looked smaller than Tasha, but maybe he is an alsashun and not a GSD ??
