The guy who holds Tai Chi classes in our hall came in today to show off his new puppy. She's 17 weeks old, called Kaia, and is possibly the gentlest GSD pup I've ever known!

She is very pretty. Perhaps she picks up on his Tai Chi calmness!

Believe it or not, I think you're right. She's so incredibly calm & will sit, come, stay, give both paws & walk (mainly) without pulling. He's only had her for about 4 weeks - the woman she went to first couldn't keep her because she was too 'lively' & the lady had to have a knee operation & wouldn't be able to cope. So why get a GSD puppy when you know you're going to be incapacitated very soon?
Her dad is a black & tan, her mum is a similar colour to her & also very calm.

It's odd what some people choose to do, Lucy's previous owners were both ill, the lady had a terminal illness and the man had walking difficulties yet for some reason they decided to get a GSD x Collie puppy! Plus they lived in a flat in Brighton! We got her at 5 months. We were only saying yesterday that she would have been going mental because she is very energetic. However she was obviously very loved and they must have been heart-broken to part with her. Kaia has such a lovely face!

With many thanks to Jacqui, who showed immense patience to walk me through getting to grips with imgur, now a photo of Axel when we first met him at 5 weeks old (couldn't wait to pick him up until he was 8 weeks old obviously:

Again - what a little cutie. I always think it's such a shame that GSD puppies are not only the cutest puppies ever but they also seem to grow the quickest, which means less puppy cuteness for us!!!
