Poor Marley, but at least he's okay now. I will never put up anything like that again.

Poor dog.
Yesterday on the news a german shepherd ate 3feet of tinsel and had to have a operation to remove the tinsel, the dog recovered, did anyone see that?.

When Max was a puppy, he ate the ribbon off one of those individual little birthday cakes. We didn't know at the time, one minute it was there and the next, it had gone! We didn't even suspect that he'd eaten it, we thought he'd carried it off somewhere. The following day I found his poo neatly wrapped in red ribbon on the lawn. I think he was saved by the fact that it was only a very short piece.

Dempsey has always been a bugga for eating everything, but strangely enough he doesn't touch the Christmas decorations! Tree, yes, but nothing else. The weirdest things he likes to eat are ear plugs. My oh is a snorer (he'd put a 737 to shame!), so I buy foam earplugs from the British Snoring Assoc... britishsnoring.co.uk/shop/snore_calm_foam_ear_plugs_special_offer_30_pairs.phpAs you can see, they're really brightly coloured, and the weirdest thing is seeing them come out the other end, still bright yellow & red! I nearly had a heart attack the first time I saw it, because I didn't even know he'd taken one!

Not starting a new thread, but, as you probably all know by now, I am extremely nosey (just like Axel), what are your plans for Christmas? Large gathering, small gathering, nothing? We will have my son and his girlfriend over, so there will just be the 4 of us plus of course Axel. More or less how I like it, we will probably play some board games or something like that. I have never been a fan of huge gatherings with all cousins removed taking part
