Interesting. With previous elections, we took the dobi and the GSD along, one waiting outside, while the other looked after the dogs. It was of course much easier today with one dog, but Axel barked at every person who did not vote the same as us  How on earth he knew who voted what is beyond me.... But there was a definite preference on Axel's part. |

Our polling station changed this time so when I took Dempsey out this morning, I went via the new location to make sure I knew where it was.
As I walked past, one of the ladies inside called out & asked if I was going in. I said yes, later, but I had my dog with me. The response was well, why not bring him in? Is he allowed, I asked? Sure, why not? they said.
So I voted at about 3 minutes past 7 this morning! And the people inside thought Dempsey was terribly well behaved.

I know that some polling stations had to change this year because the venue was needed for Nativity plays etc - was that the case with yours?

No, apparently there was a sports tournament that the school had advised them about, but the people who arrange the venues totally ignored it! They had to set up a tiny portakabin in a car park!
