At the end of September Buddy found a kitten in the woods that someone had dumped there in a cardboard box. Yes, you read it correctly, just dumped in a box.
After 2 months of medical care and rehabilitation he moved to his new forever home today!
It was very fortunate for the kitten that Buddy found him and that I knew a local cat rescue who came and took him in immediately. The poor love was about 4 months old then and absolutely terrified. Stig, as I was allowed to name him (it is a man's name in Sweden but also means path, which little Stig was found next to) could only press himself against some stones and shake in fear. He is now a very stable fellow and happy.
Stig's story helped generate a lot of help for the cat rescue so all the other cats they save were boosted. I am so happy that Buddy has his big nose and stubborn streak so he made sure someone found little Stig. I'm quite proud of my Buddy. I am also happy for little Stig!
