I just read about the pup but I didn't know about the rabbit or horse.
What an absolute tragedy for all of them. When will people stop being so selfish & see the harm that fireworks do?

Again parliament says that there are adequate laws in place re fireworks....really!

That is really terrible! And to be honest, who needs fireworks? They pollute the atmosphere, cost loads of money and are really of no use to anybody as such. For example, the council-paid fireworks, instead of throwing money into the air, why not improve things that are really needed?

I'm afraid I couldn't bring myself to read the articles, the headings were awful enough! How times have changed - when I was growing up, it was unheard of to have fireworks on a Sunday but now it's any day and any time. We've had them going off into the early hours, expected at New Year but not during the rest of the year.
