Thank you - she was getting the hang of it by then She's between me and a bus stop - which she's chained to. When we started, she had the chain stretched fairly tight so that she could jam herself against my leg - and my lead was equally taut to allow her to reach me:P

Nice hat!! Keeps the sun off the bits where I don't have hair anymore And it took a while to realise the blob on my face is a reflection from somewhere (prob'ly the bus stop??)

I thought it was a plectrum at first - tho' I rarely use a plectrum for bass. The weather was forecast sun/showers, hence floppy hat - I can wodge it in a pocket if need be, there's a fair amount of hopping on/off trains and I've got an amp and a guitar to manage. In the event it stayed sunny, so I kept it on
