It was the rescue centre's (where we got Rusty and our old dog) annual dog show last Sunday (funny but they have 2 annual dog shows a year!). Last October Rusty won the Best in Show - this time around he won the most handsome dog, and came 2nd for the best male rescue dog. Here's a pic of John and Rusty collecting his prize.... look at Rusty's face, he looked almost as please as we were Lisa the lady presenting the prizes is a helper at the dog training school we go to, she was said to have told someone that she couldn't choose one of the dogs from the training classes.... but she did! I guess she couldn't help herself lol. Sorry the image isn't great, I forgot the camera, this pic is from the iphone, but I couldn't see what I was aiming at, the sun was too bright!

He certainly looks chuffed Not going to be in Derbyshire for the weekend, then ?? Wished we were Brian, really really wished we were. We went back to the UK because John had two spots on his face that wouldn't heal, turns out they are rodent ulcers (low level skin cancer). He's not being fast tracked for surgery, but we are expecting a date soon for plastic surgery. So it's all been up in the air do we stay in the UK, or what. Didn't want to outstay our welcome with our friends and family though. We've been back a week now. Thanks Brian and Caryll - Rusty is one happy pooch! We always knew he was handsome, but having a rosette makes it official lol x

All Best Wishes for John Rusty's following in good footsteps Aw... oh I wish They both have similar coats, with dark faces, and a big black saddle. Charley is such a sweetheart. Would have loved to have met up... maybe one day soon I hope. Well done Charlie for coming 1st! These days are memorable.

(I'd already written most of this in another thread - perhaps I should make it a 'sticky' somewhere...) Hit 'Reply' or 'Quote' instead of using 'Quick Reply' - gives you the 'full' editor At the bottom left of the full editor window are 2 tabs - 'BBCode' is like the default MGS editor, 'Preview' is like the MGS preview, but in the same window If you want BBCode to be your 'default', you can set it in your profile Clear as mud, huh Just click buttons ... Did anyone use Wordperfect?? Think of BBCode as the 'display formatting codes' view in Wordperfect Mostly they use [switch on] and [/switch off] pairs to affect the post - a lot of the web works like that Try selecting something like 'View/Page Source' (varies with browser) to see the underlying code for any web page - at first it looks like junk, but a bit of thought will show the sense of at least some of it This is from a _very_ simple page I cobbled together: To see what it does, go to webspace.qmul.ac.uk/bharding/downloads/urls.html - it's just a set of reminders I use a lot
