It's far to hot especially for animals, I saw on the news three dogs died after being left in a hot car.

We've just had the _biggest_ cracks of thunder in East London (counted 6 seconds) - but only a sprinkle of rain. BBC weather app still saying no thunder 'til 1am tomorrow ...

The people who need to be reminded that it's too hot for your dog to walk on pavement are the same people who dump their dogs at shelters for pooping on the floor when they leave them alone for 12 hours straight. They are qualified to own a plastic fern and never a thing with a pulse.
Our heatwave broke yesterday and the temperature literally dropped 20 degrees over a night. Since I'm on vacation, I have Buddy as my alarm clock and he let me sleep until 10 yesterday. It was the cat who woke us up due to a "empty food dish" situation.
