Lost my lovely Max , long coat German Shepherd. Max was 11 yrs 6 months and with me since 8 weeks old. At a bit of a low point in my life when I got him, Max was a game changer and turning point for me and will never be forgotten. A loving and loyal friend, R.I.P. Max till we meet again.

So sorry for your loss, its such a shame they have to go isn't it. Its amazing what they can teach you about yourself and others during their short lives.

Why don't you tell us your name and a little about yourself and your animals. Write something in your 'signature' so that us old senile ones can remember who we are talking to. Add the rough area where you live without giving too much away.

So sorry to hear this. RIP Max, run free to Rainbow Bridge.
I know it doesn't seem like it at the moment, but eventually you'll be able to look back with a smile instead of tears.
We're here if you need to talk.

Yes the way I dealt with the whole situation after grieving for so long was to only think of the good times nothing else and it worked out for me.

So sorry for you - it leaves such a big hole in your life when they leave us, but they also leave us with such wonderful memories.
