lol! And the smaller the dog, the more the larger the collection! I once saw a lady proudly walking her collection of 6 tiny ones.

One is more than enough for me - probably too much. Why did I think this was a good idea at my age?

Snap Jenna. One thing is for sure that one day this pain and bloodshed will be over and you will have a calm loving dog by your side.

Aide, my last Shepherd in the avatar to the left, suddenly changed on her 3rd birthday into, well, normal. It was like flicking a switch, all of a sudden an adult. Vinny caught me twice this morning and caused a torrent of blood. He has a tooth that is slightly chipped and its like a hook and tears into your skin even when he doesn't mean to hurt you. Teresa and I are looking forward to having a dog you can cuddle without all the bad stuff coming with it. You can advise new members on how teething should be managed but to be quite honest it doesn't work you just have to ride it out as best you can.

Oh, Chris, you poor thing - I do sympathise! Dempsey was a pain in the *&^%$ until he got to about 2 years old & then, like Aide, he suddenly 'grew up'!

Once the relentless biting is over he will be fine. Today he is a little better but I never count my chickens.

Kira seemed to stop biting at about 4 months, apart from the occasional grab and calmed down a lot - which isn't saying much...because she was at 300% before.
