Love her face and her colours - she's lovely !! That link doesnt work unfortunately Jenna I think you've got the permissions wrong, Jenna - if you want to share with GSDUK, you'll need to set permissions to 'public'?? Since I've also got a google account, I clicked on 'Join' and it showed me the pix. ymmv.

Finally managed to get all the photos up - She is fantastic! BTW, where did you get the lead that is shown in the video where Kira looks into the water?

Great Caryll, thank you very much - we were looking for a lead like that for ages with no luck!

They're really useful. I use a softex lead for Dempsey - had it for about 6 years now & showing no sign of wear!

We have also just ordered the softex one - we had something similar for Lola (purchased abroad ages ago), but our son sort of "ruined" it. Since then we have been looking for a replacement, but I guess we did not put the right keywords into the search engine.

I thought it was a Julius K9 soft grip - rubberised so it doesn't slip through your fingers when wet. I thought I got it from Amazon but can't see it in my history so I must have had it direct from Julius K9. Having said that I can't find the one I bought so it could be a different make. Definitely rubberised though so doesn't get soggy.
I find it useful because the length can be adjusted quite well with the different rings. Also when at full length with just a small loop for the handle I can loop it around her chest and I can control her better if she decides she wants to pull after a squirrel or cat!! She walks nicely most of the time on the lead now, but there is always that occasion that catches you out.

I use a Halti for each of mine, looks very similar material to the ones you've shown. Lovely and soft and non-slippery.

The softex ones are really, really strong, adjustable with d-rings and comfortable to hold. Being material, they don't slide through your hands like leather ones, and dry out very quickly when they've got wet. Easily washable as well.

We use Halti leads, too - genuine and good 'inspired by ...' ones. Tasha can destroy a lead in seconds and she used to bite them as a 'comfort blanket' thing - so we buy in sixes If we leave her lead on in the car, we'll arrive at the destination with it in 6" lengths

As a bonus, they fit round my waist for hands-free walks
