Here he is, 9 weeks old and so far been really really good, with only 2 little accidents in the house (which was probably my fault for not paying attention!)

Wow, he is beautiful and such an unusual colour for a Shepherd. I had a Shepherd crossed with a Doberman who was black and tan and short haired. She was like Houdini and constantly trying to escape. Often succeeding. She had puppies and the dad was unknown but some of them were the same liver and tan as Zac. We kept one and he was long haired. Never knew if this was due to the Doberman or if Dad was a Red Setter.
Sorry - went on a bit there. Lovely, beautiful puppy!

Is he a blue ? When I was searching breeders I was looking at liver and blue (still in touch with the breeder that does liver pups). I ended up falling in love with my little black girl Luna (she’s half GSD half Groenendael). I’d still love to get a liver pup but I think the OH will put his foot down lol !

I thought blue because in the first picture his nose looks grey/blue in colour I thought Liver dogs all had reddish brown noses (the dilution of brown colouring) Yes I've read somewhere that blue is the dilution of black and frowned upon for people who love the standard but hey isn't he just gorgeous ! and I want to steal Mowgli hes an absolute stunner, the kind of dog I was looking for when I started my search for a pup <3 |
