Thought I'd share some of the pictures from us camping last week. Zeus loved camping (much to my relief as we do it often!) He slept on my sleeping bag and was brilliant the whole week! Flat out after playing on the beach. Snuggles in the beach shelter. Complaining as the long leash wouldn't let him go with the kids to the loo. Being a land shark in the tent. All in all he did brilliantly. Cannot wait to take him again!

Looking good! Dogs, youngies and camping I had a camping holiday near Dalbeattie, good salmon fishing in the river there and the best beef I have ever eaten from the butchers in Castle Douglas.

I love Dalbeattie too. The coast line when the tides out allows you to walk for miles. Love all the little coves between sandyhills bay and rockcliffe. Zeus loved the freedom being off leash running around like a loon. Met quite a few Shepherds (and their owners lol) so he had a good play! Roll on October half term for our last camp of the season!

Tasha went camping for the first time recently (Pembrokeshire) - I'll share the pix when I find them I'll look forward to seeing them! You cannot beat sitting watching the sun rise with your Shepherd sat next to you. All quiet on the site as everyone is still sleeping. Then the kettle whistles as you got lost in the moment and it scares the beegeezers out of you hahaha.

Folk who say they're not car proud still wince when you open a can of food into a stainless steel bowl using the bonnet as a table ... And Charley slept in the back of his Wentworth with the tail-gate open - fellow campers said, 'you do know you've left your car open ... ??' Hahahaha that's what I do. Use the bonnet as a table. The boot door is always open in case Zeus needs some peace from the kids. We have a zafira, ye gods does it get in some states. Muddy beach, muddy kids, muddy dog. Walked back to the car and all just piled in. The bloke in the Porsche Cayenne with 2 pristine kids and a handbag dog jaw fell to the floor. Muddy kids and dogs are happy kids and dogs. The car will clean lol.

Life's too short to clean a car We live in a 'high car crime area' - but a generous coating of dog hair/mud/sand/... keeps ours safe

We live in the a** end of nowhere and everyone round here has super posh jags and range rovers. Here's me zooming around in a scruffed up Vauxhall. My son has cleaned the outside so at least she looks clean.
The inside - 4 pairs of wellies, 4 sets of muddy waterproofs, muddy dog bed and paw prints on all of the windows including the windscreen. Oh and lick marks. Hahahaha. It'll get done at somepoint today. Other half is back Wednesday for a week so it's getting its 4 month muck out hahaha
