Wait for the inevitable bad press regarding sheps now!  Still, at least it's something else for the US to think about, apart from the Harry & Megan saga which is really peeing me off!  It gets a higher billing on the news than Covid! |

When you want to hide something (let's say (just hypothetically) one of the highest CV death rates in the world, or mass corruption and cronyism, ...) you just throw a dead cat on the table - and everyone forgets the current discussion and goes, 'ooh, dead cat!!'. Known as dead cat politics, you can see it everywhere ...

I have to say I'd never heard of that, even at my advanced years!  So, if a cat (not the dead one) scratches or bites a security guard, would they send the cat away? |

It was probably just a nip, something more hardy people than US security guards would not even report. Maybe the security guard provoked Major? And yes, Jill seems to do all the right things to get him used to totally unfamiliar surroundings. I hope all of them will be back in the White House together soon!

Wonder how they're feeling about having the dogs moved back home? I guess Mr Biden is probably far too busy to be affected too much, but Mrs Biden will miss them (even though the First Lady is expected to have her own stuff to do). |
