Happy gotcha day. I haven’t been to Wanstead park for an age. The last time was the late 70’s when I had my first shepherd Oscar.

There always used to be cattle on Wanstead flats opposite the Fleece, quite a herd.

There always used to be cattle on Wanstead flats opposite the Fleece, quite a herd. Foot and mouth put a stop to that, I was hoping the cows were being reintroduced to the 'old' grazing areas You can still see the cattle grids that stopped them wandering onto the M11 link at the top of Leytonstone
