What a handsome boy!

He's too handsome and cute looking. People automatically assume that they can just go straight up to him and fuss him, then get offended when I ask them to give him space.

Here's an interaction I had the other day with a man nicking sand from a building site.

"He's a beautiful pup" as he crouched down to fuss him.
"Yes he is but he's still learning. I'm trying to teach him manners as I don't want him jumping up without being invited. Please give him some space." Remo is now jumping up and has no regard for me or the lead.
"Yeah" the knowledgeable man says, "but you can train them out of that. That's why the police and the army use them." The man is now putting his hands in Remo's face encouraging the bite. "My dog is 7 and she still jumps up." I didn't even try to feign surprise.

"What did you think I was doing?" The man looked confused and walked off with his barrow of stolen sand

What a cutie - and welcome to the world of 'why shep pups don't get trained/finish up in rescue ...'

It's lovely that you've added an attachment with your picture, but attachments eat into our very limited file space. However, we leave access to attachments available so that new members can post their first pix easily. Assuming your pix are on your fone, the easiest way to share them on the forum is using the (free) Tapatalk app

That way, the pix are stored on Tapatalk's servers rather than ours. As a bonus, they show much bigger in messages and you don't need to open them in a separate window

If your pix are on Facebook/Google Photos/Imgur/... or other pic sharing sites, you can add them using the button in the Forum Message Editor, just click it and paste in the picture URL. Similarly, videos need to be on Youtube and are added to the forum with the button.

I was so proud of myself for getting his picture on, too.🤣🤣

I'm new to this kind of thing so I'm grateful to be told so gently that I need to enter the 21st century. Thanks for being so nice about it😁

No worries - some of us have been on forums forever (I remember when they were green writing on a black screen !!). If you've not done one before they can be a puzzle, but you'll soon get the hang of it Any worries, just ask
