That is terrible, but I guess was sort of expected - among them will be many abandoned puppies that were purchased during lockdown - I read the comments as well, and I fully agree with the first (and subsequent ones), I would sooner go hungry than let Axel starve. When you take on a dog, you are making a commitment to look after it for life (I'm sure everyone on here will agree with that).

There were similar stories all over news media yesterday - mostly predictions from an animal charity asking for funds ... Not going to be funny if we have a bad recession, tho'  |

Not going to be funny if we have a bad recession, tho' "if we have a bad recession"  ? You are being very optimistic Brian. I am usually not a gloomy type of person, but I think the whole thing will be worse than the great depression about 100 or so years ago, and all due to a little virus
