The photos that I could see are all great, but somew of them did not appear on my pc, maybe the thread is too old?

The way the interweb works has changed since the thread started so pictures have started to disappear  When I was working, I had space on the University's servers which (amongst other things  ) I could use to post pix. It used to be a courtesy thing to extend access to academics after retirement, but the 'new' (from business ) IT management couldn't see the point  Until very recently, my pix were still being served from there - but your post prompted me to check and they've closed down my access, nice of them to let me know ... If you'd like to know a bit about where pix 'live', some history on interweb pix and why many have disappeared forever (particularly on forums ) and how to post your own pix - have a trawl through the "Website Help Desk & Requests" section at the top of the forum |
